Emma Campbell - Secondary
Emma has been teaching at Northfleet Technology College for the past 7 years and has been in middle management for over 5 years. Her area of expertise has been developed through a deep interest in Music within the curriculum, and in particular, planning for student engagement, enjoyment and achievement.
For the past 5 years, Emma has taken the lead in teaching KS3 music as well as Level 2 BTEC at KS4, and Level 3 BTEC at KS5. More recently, she has also become an adviser within her own school for the 'Arts Award' as well as running/teaching the V. Cert in Music.
Through active engagement at KS3, the uptake of Music in KS4 & 5 within her own school has increased. Emma has a keen interest in the ‘Musical Futures’ approach to music within the classroom and has been a champion teacher for the past 5 years, running a series of workshops and staff training days open to teachers across the South-East, in addition to being involved in the development of the approach nationally.
Emma also has a long-standing relationship with Canterbury Christchurch University, mentoring PGCE students each year within their teaching placements
Jon Morgan - Secondary
Jon leads the curriculum and has responsibility for creating an innovative offer which can ensure all students in a diverse school community have the opportunity to achieve their best in both academic and vocational areas. He can offer support and advice in a range of areas including data tracking towards key performance measures and intervention approaches, exploring various vocational opportunities, timetabling, and subject evaluation processes. He is also a Music teacher of 17 years experience with significant expertise in driving the development of the Musical Futures principles in schools at a local, regional and national level over the years.
